inSYNC’s ‘Needed’ Track of the Week: ‘Loving Is Easy’ by Rex Orange County

Nineteen-year-old Surrey-based musician Alex O’Connor AKA Rex Orange County has gained significant airtime since the end of the summer, with our ‘Needed’ track this week now being a regular play on BBC Radio 1. His newfound success has been created by the most unusual fan. In 2016 he gained a follow on SoundCloud from none other than US rapper and producer Tyler, The Creator. Tyler paid for the teenager to fly out to LA to work on two songs from his album. These tracks ‘Foreword’ and ‘Boredom’ would go on to become two standout songs of the 2017 record. This week, Rex Orange County’s own track ‘Loving Is Easy’ is inSYNC’s Track of the Week. The upbeat, melodic love song will put you in an uplifting mood, interjecting you with a summertime feeling, something everyone needs during this gloomy time of year.
