Peace Announce New Album

We have now seen Peace on three occasions in the last twelve months, and they’ve only been gathering speed since then. The four-piece indie rock group have made it big since the release of their 2013 debut album ‘In Love’. The band have now announced the release of their next album ‘Happy People’. The second studio LP will be released on February 9th next year.

Their excellent live style and escapist music has propelled them forward, gaining some high profile sets this year, including their Main Stage appearance at Reading & Leeds in August. The Midlands-based foursome have gained an army of fans up and down the country sticking to youthful zing and an enthusiastic performance style.

Peace have been in the limelight for some time now, and on their journey has left some of music’s biggest names wanting a piece of the action; Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood swapped a pair of his cargo trousers for one of Peace’s demos and Usher battled through crowds to get a front row seat at one of their early Sxsw performances. There’s a lot of love for Peace, and their endearing, youthful innocence has seen them go from small show, low-paid band to getting a major record deal and huge international success in just a few short years.

‘Happy People’ was not written in the comfort of a studio, but on the road and in hotel rooms. We are really excited for Peace’s next album to see how their rhythm and pop melodies have been newly influenced by their year on tour. Hype is starting to build around the band and seeing them on this next tour will only excite fans more about their upcoming record.

Peace are back on tour, in support of Bombay Bicycle Club whilst they take to the UK in their last performances of the band’s biggest year so far. Peace will be repping their upcoming album too. We will also see a support act performance from the newly discovered SIVU. Indie man SIVU has recently released his debut album, and it’ll good to see how much further the British singer/songwriter has come since we saw him perform at Reading.
