Knife Party To Headline Mutiny Festival
Australian dance duo Knife Party have been confirmed as Saturday night headliners for this year’s Mutiny Festival.
Knife Party released debut studio album, Abandon Ship in November last year and have spent the beginning of the year touring in America. The Mutiny appearance, however, will be a rare UK show with only two other festivals (Wireless and We Are Fstvl) and no headline gigs currently scheduled.
The rapidly growing music festival in just its second year will also host live performances from London singer-songwriters Labrinth, Katy B and Maverick Sabre.
There will also be DJ sets across the weekend from Amine Edge & Dance, Hannah Wants, DJ EZ, Benton, Christoph, Disciples, DJ S.K.T, Gotsome, Kito, MistaJam, New Your Transit Authority, Rewire & Varski and Silmzee & Riko with over 100 further artists including the Sunday night headliner and International special guests still to be announced.
The inaugural Mutiny Festival in 2014 saw chart-topper DJ Fresh, and Radio 1 DJ’s Zane Lowe and Pete Tong MBE headline the hugely successful event at Portsmouth’s Victoria Park with Sigma also appearing.
The 2015 festival will take place at Chichester’s Fontwell Park after months of negotiations, and will see the introduction of camping at the festival for the very first time.
