Foo Fighters Confirmed For Glastonbury 2015

Foo Fighters have confirmed that they will headline Britain’s most prestigious festival, Glastonbury. They said in their Best International Band acceptance speech at 2015’s NME Awards.

Although Foo Fighters weren’t at the ceremony in person, they sent a video speech in which they thanked Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders for presenting them with the award, and then proceeded to reveal that they would headline the festival; the first of three of the Glastonbury headliners to be made public.

Strong rumours are now circling of the other two bands, but strong contenders are Damon Albarn’s Brit rock group Blur who, today, announced a new album.

Only time will tell.
