inSYNC’s ‘Needed’ Track of the Week: ‘Before Sunshine’ by Gengahr

Stoke-based indie rock four-piece, Gengahr, have just released their second studio album on Transgressive Records. Formed in 2013, the band had their first ever single ‘Fill My Gums With Blood’ played by Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1. They were then invited to play the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury in 2014. After releasing their debut record, ‘A Dream Outside’, in 2015 the group have been constantly working and writing new material. Although the album did well, and the band have a cult following of enthusiastic fans, it failed to chart in the UK.

Gengahr’s second album ‘Where Wilderness Grows’ was released on Friday and hopes to propel the band forward and earn them a well-deserved place on the UK Album Chart. inSYNC’s ‘Needed’ track this week is ‘Before Sunrise’, the lead single from the new record. The mesmerising, upbeat track features a distinct melody with frontman Felix Bushe’s signature falsetto vocals that we heard a lot in the band’s debut.
