Love Saves The Day / 26th-27th May 2018

Bristol’s very popular Love Saves The Day festival will return for another year of mayhem at the city’s Eastville Park on late May bank holiday weekend. LSTD never fails to impress from a musical standpoint and it looks as if 2018 will be pulling out all the stops once more. Once Bristol’s best kept musical secret, LSTD’s seventh year is set to pull in festival-goers from across the land. 2018’s main stage will not just host some of the world’s best DJs but also artists from multiple genres. Supporting Fatboy Slim on Saturday is electronic duo Bicep (performing a live show), multi-instrumentalist Tom Misch and producer George Fitzgerald. Joining Sampha on Sunday will be hip-hop mogul Loyle Carner, rapper MoStack and electronica DJ Nightmares on Wax.

After the announcement of this year’s headliners at the end of 2017 and the bulk of the lineup a few weeks ago, organisers had one more trick up their sleeve. Exciting additions to the lineup have made this festival a talking point in this year’s incoming festival season. Scottish tech/house stalwart Jackmaster will play on the Saturday alongside Mall Grab and Denis Sulta with Horse Meat Disco and Bradley Zero also joining the bill. Sunday sees drum & bass icon Andy C play as well as house producer Artwork.

Love Supreme / 29th June-1st July 2018

Love Supreme is the UK’s biggest and best jazz, soul and blues festival. Jointly organised by Neapolitan Music, Ingenious Media and Serious, the festival has been running in East Sussex since 2013. The three-day camping affair not only offers a relaxed family-friendly environment but also the best lineup of jazz musicians in the country.

Disco legends Earth, Wind & Fire top the bill alongside Elvis Costello & The Imposters. Legendary American singer/songwriter George Clinton, newcomer to the scene Tom Misch and ex-Bombay Bicycle Club frontman Jack Steadman (under his new moniker Mr Jukes) are also set to play. The festival will also feature many DJs and local artists helping you to get your funk on. A plush kids area, street food and glamping options will hope to make Love Supreme a highlight in this year’s festival season.
