Ed Sheeran Is Glastonbury’s Final 2017 Headliner

After the normal cascade of rumours surrounding Glastonbury’s headliners, pop sensation Ed Sheeran has been officially announced as Glastonbury 2017’s Sunday night headliner. The twenty-six-year-old broke records with his third studio ÷ (Divide), that was released last week, and now he is poised to take to the Pyramid Stage in June.

The festival has already announced legendary British five-piece Radiohead and rock moguls Foo Fighters as Friday and Saturday night headliner retrospectively. Glastonbury Tweeted a video of Ed’s first Glastonbury performance in the ‘Croissant Neuf’ tent back in 2011:

The rest of the Glastonbury lineup is expected to be announced within the next few weeks. Rumours continue to circle about who will be on this year’s bill before the festival takes a break in 2018.
