Victorious Returns to Southsea Seafront

Like every festival, Victorious was cancelled in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. With restrictions now lifted across England a number of events have gone full steam ahead. With its position of taking place over August Bank Holiday weekend the festival is one of the lucky events that can happen in 2021 on its usual dates. After some minor changes from the proposed 2020 lineup, festival organisers announced the roster of artist’s for this year. Combining Portsmouth’s age old features like Henry VIII’s castle and Naval history with some incredible bands make for an exciting and unique festival experience. This setup makes Victorious one of the best urban festivals currently in the UK.

Madness will be returning to the festival to bring ska vibes to the opening night. Friday will also features The Kooks, Feeder, Peter Hook & The Light and Terrorvision. British favourites The Streets take top spot at this year’s Saturday night. Stockport’s finest Blossoms also join the festival lineup as well as garage legend Craig David, former Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft and singer/songwriter Rag’N’Bone Man. Sunday will see indie rock duo Royal Blood headline. Supergrass and Miles Kane also join the bill.

Victorious offers both full weekend tickets and also day tickets. These can be purchased now from http://victoriousfestival.co.uk.
