Mutiny Returns For A Second Year

Thousands of music fans will transcend on Fontwell Park in Chichester in July for the second Mutiny Festival. The festival which was first held in Victoria Park in Portsmouth last July will feature a huge lineup including international festival smashers and superstars for what will be the south coast’s biggest party of the summer.

The first artist to be announced in mid-February, as the Saturday night headliner were international festival heavyweights Knife Party. The 2011-formed Aussie duo, who released debut album Abandon Ship in November last year do not play a massive amount of UK shows, so this set is not one to be missed!

Joining Knife Party on top of the Saturday main stage bill is American multi-Platinum Hip-Hop legend Snoop Dogg. Snoop Dogg, who will release his thirteenth album Bush in April will bring his full production to Fontwell Park.

The strong looking Saturday main stage lineup will be completed by Labrinth, Katy B, Mistajam and Artful Dodger, with a surprise guest also set to appear.

The Sunday night main stage headliner, which was announced in mid-March is Rebel Sound. Rebel Sound were formed in late 2014 by Chase & Status, MC Rage, Shy FX and David Rodigan MBE to compete in and ultimately win the Red Bull Culture Clash at London’s Earls Court. This will be a rare show for the supergroup with only seven festival appearances across Europe scheduled, for one summer only, Fontwell Park will be in for a treat.

Joining Rebel Sound on the Sunday main stage bill will be Maverick Sabre, DJ EZ, Toddla T, Stormzy, Big Narstie and Kito.

Not only will the festival feature a main stage, but also The Warehouse Big Top stage, DnB tent (Saturday) / Club MTV tent (Sunday) which will feature a colour festival, and also a Switch Presents stage (Sat) / Concrete Music stage (Sun).

Headlining The Warehouse Big Top on Saturday night will be North-London garage duo Gorgon City. The duo, who released debut album Sirens in October last year, are rapidly making a strong account of themselves on the festival circuit and will be switching from the live band setup to the decks for what is sure to be an epic DJ set. Joining Gorgon City will be Anime Edge and Dance, Idris Elba, Disciples, Bontan and Soul Divide.

Sunday night’s Warehouse Big Top headliner will be Marc Kinchen. The Detroit House producer, who has a busy summer ahead appeared at the inaugural event last year and is quickly becoming a festival favourite.
