London’s Junction 2 Comes to Bristol

For the first time this Saturday, we are lucky enough to have the highly regarded event that is Junction 2 coming to Motion in Bristol for their new club night. Created by LWE and known for its festival situated in Boston Manor Park in London, Motion is lucky enough to play host to a night which focuses on strictly techno and boasts some of the biggest names in the game. The lineup consists of Drumcode head honcho Adam Beyer, who will be playing a back to back set with Swedish DJ Ida Engberg. Having seen them already play separately at a Drumcode night back in November, we are very excited to see them bring their styles together and performing what will be a techno masterclass for two or more hours.

Joining them in the warehouse will be Scuba, duo Dense & Pika and Fractal. It doesn’t stop there, the Motion main room will also be open offering the best of Berlin techno. The headliner for this room is someone who we haven’t had the chance to see yet and we can’t wait. It is none other than Nina Kraviz. Born in Siberia, she is regarded as one of the best in the business by her incredible mixing and song selection and by her own label entitled ‘trip’, which has releases by Radio Slave, Tale of Us and Ryan Elliot to name a few. We expect to hear new material from the label and we are excited to see what it has to offer in 2018. Joining Nina in the main room is Luke Slater, Paula Temple and Black Amiga. Orpheu the Wizard will be playing back to back with Jamie Tiller for the duration of the night in room three, which is hosted by Deep Discs. All tickets for this have now sold out, but if you were lucky enough to get tickets, you are in for a treat!
