inSYNC’s ‘Needed’ Track of the Week: ‘Cactus’ by Teleman

London based indie four-piece Teleman were formed in 2012 subsequently releasing two studio albums, ‘Breakfast’ in 2014 and ‘Brilliant Sanity’ in 2016 retrospectively. The group has toured in the US and Europe extensively and have supported a number of large artists including Suede, Metronomy, Kaiser Chiefs and Franz Ferdinand.

Teleman have added to their two previous albums with a new single. ‘Cactus’ sees the band take a more electronic approach to their music. The synthy melody, electro sounds and fast-paced drum beat give the track an 80s vibe with frontman Thomas Sanders’ vocals comparable to electropop group Hot Chip. We love the band’s new direction and can’t wait to hear what Teleman’s new record sounds like when its released later this year.
