inSYNC’s favourite small festival is still going strong bringing a bigger and bigger lineup with each passing year. Standon Calling is one of the UK’s best family-friendly festivals and offers an eclectic lineup that appeals to everyone. Set in the glorious grounds of the Standon Manor House in Hertfordshire, the festival comes complete with a swimming pool and a dog show. An announcement this week shows off the 2018 lineup of the festival. Paloma Faith, George Ezra and Bryan Ferry take the headline slots with Goldfrapp, Django Django, The Horrors and Maribou State offering support. Standon Calling is a must visit on the festival calendar.

Primavera Sound / 30th May-3rd June 2018

Spain’s answer to Glastonbury, Barcelona-based Primavera Sound continues to boast one of the best lineups in Europe. Running since 2001, the festival has received international fame playing host to some of the world’s biggest and best artists. 2018 is set to be no different with Bjork, The National and Arctic Monkeys taking headline slots. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Migos, Tyler, The Creator and Lorde are just a few of the other artists on the bill.

BBC Music’s Biggest Weekend / 25th-28th May 2018

BBC Radio 1 usually host their Big Weekend on late May bank holiday weekend, however this year they had a surprise in store. BBC Radio 2, Radio 3 and 6 Music are also joining the band wagon to create BBC Music’s Biggest Weekend. Each station will host artists in a different city in the UK. Belfast will plat host to Beck and Manic Street Preachers. Perth will get to enjoy Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Nigel Kennedy. Swansea gets Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift whilst Coventry will have Snow Patrol and Billy Ocean. The event is set to be an epic national celebration of music. Not forgetting the best part, tickets are free! You just need to apply.
