Coldplay Announced as First Glastonbury Headliner
Coldplay have been announced as headliners for this year’s Glastonbury Festival. The five piece, who released seventh album ‘A Head Full of Dreams‘ in December last year will close the festival on the Sunday. The Pyramid stage appearance will mark the fourth time the band have headlined the festival.
At the start of the month, Jeff Lynne’s ELO was announced for the Sunday evening legends spot.
The festival will take place between Wednesday 22nd and Sunday 26th June at Worth Farm, Pilton in Somerset.
Glastonbury 2015 was headlined by Florence + the Machine, after Foo Fighters pulled out, as well as American Rapper Kanye West and London Rock band The Who, with Lionel Richie playing the Sunday evening legends spot.
