Coachella Announce 2016 Lineup
Coachella is one of the United States’ biggest music festivals with past lineups including some of the world’s biggest and best artists. Today, the festival announced their lineup for the festival which will take place in California in April.
This year will see even more great acts come to the stage over the two weekends of the festival. Both Friday nights will be headlined by American electronic rock band LCD Soundsystem who reformed in 2015 after a four year hiatus. Friday will also see the likes of pop star Ellie Goulding, singer-songwriter Sufjan Stevens, EDM duo Jack Ü, French electronic band M83, trance group Underworld, rock band The Kills and indie-rock group Foals all take to the stage.
Saturday is very special this year, as Guns N’ Roses will headline the festival. This is the first time the group will perform together since 1993! Also joining the legends is rapper Ice Cube, dance duo Disclosure, DJ Zedd, hip hop artist ASAP Rocky, Scottish electro pop trip Chvrches, singer Halsey and pop singer James Bay.
Sunday will see superstar DJ Calvin Harris headline the Cali festival. Joining Harris to close the festival will be singer Sia, dance/pop group Major Lazer, Australian producer Flume, pop duo Beach House, indie band The 1975, punk rock Rancid and Sweedish band Miike Snow.
