Bestival Returns For 12th Year

Steamrolling on to its upcoming 12th year of sonic power and sheer oddity, Rob Da Bank’s Bestival will soon be here with its eclectic mix of rock, pop, indie, folk, RnB, electronic and dance music. Bestival has become one of the UK’s biggest, best and ledt-field festivals, placing itself strategically at the end of the UK summer festival marathon.

The festival will return on September 10th 2015 with a truly multi-genre lineup ranging from drum and bass to pop. Bestival’s unique and quirky scenery almost resemble someone’s most obscure imagination into a real-life scene set in the middle of the Isle of Wight countryside.

The festival is always adorned with tokens of its yearly theme, 2015 being ‘Summer of Love’; populated with hundreds of people in fancy dress moving amongst wooded amphitheatres, modern stages and themed areas. Get your hippy outfits at the ready! Mark Ronson, Future Islands, FKA twigs, Tame Impala, Ella Eyre, Skrillex and Gorgon City, are to name just a few of the ham packed lineup.

Get ready to “Get Ur Freak On”, “Work It” and “Lose Control”, though, as Missy Elliott has been announced as Sunday’s headliner, joining Underworld, The Chemical Brothers and Duran Duran at the top of the bill. Da Bank said, “Needing no introduction Missy is the epitome of hip-hop royalty, the first lady of party-starting club bangers and a downright legend.”

So, if it’s an all-round bonanza of world-beating quality and out-and-out silliness that you’re looking for, then look no further. Bestival is pretty much the holy grail.

Tickets available from www.bestival.net for £195.00 for an adult weekend pass.
