BBK Bilbao Live Returns for 2023 Edition

Next month see’s another stellar lineup being brought to Northern Spain’s picturesque Basque region for this year’s edition of BBK Bilbao Live. 2023’s festival features a plethora of artists from both Spain and many internationally recognised names. Topping the bill will be indie rock band Florence & the Machine, legendary dance duo The Chemical Brothers, Pavement, French rock group Phoenix and, of course, Arctic Monkeys.

As well as a top roster of bands, artists and DJs art is a fundamental part of the festival. The most recent image released by BBK Bilbao features the legend of Tximistarri, a Basque word meaning ‘light stone’. This image is one of four released by festival organisers as part of the art-music alliance between BBK and Spanish artist Vicente Paredes.

On top of all their artistic direction and festival production BBK Bilbao is committed to the care of the natural environment around the festival site. A generous €3 of each ticket sold will be going towards the reforestation efforts of the local area that was unfortunately burned. Festival organisers hope to raise further awareness of climate change and the ever-changing climate.
