inSYNC’s ‘Needed’ Track of the Week: ‘Tints’ by Anderson Paak featuring Kendrick Lamar

RnB producer and musician Anderson Paak is set to release his second solo record at the end of this week, two and a half years after the release of his debut ‘Malibu’, which gained critical acclaim. Paak has gathered huge popularity in the last couple of years, especially in the UK. The new record ‘Oxnard’ is said to feature a number of big features including Snoop Dog, J.Cole and Q-Tip.

Our ‘Needed’ track this week is ‘Tints’, the album’s lead single which features rapper Kendrick Lamar. Funky and packed with groove, ‘Tints’ embodies rap as well as funk and soul crossing over Paak’s and Lamar’s unique styles into a neatly packaged catchy tune. The pair have combined forces to write, record and produce an infectious tune that perfectly heads up Anderson Paak upcoming record. If ‘Tints’ is what is on offer, we can’t wait to hear the rest of the LP.
