Treatment with Ten Walls at The O2 Academy, Bournemouth

For the past eight months, Mario Basanov, better known as Ten Walls, has been the talk of the town. For those who like the house scene, the Lithuanian DJ is a big deal, most known for the moody deep house high flyer ‘Walking With Elephants’. The song was the most Shazam-ed song in Ibiza last summer, and made it into almost every top DJ’s set.

Treatment is a big house that happens across the UK. This was the second Treatment in Bournemouth that inSYNC had made it too, and this time round we got to see Ten Walls perform his Live set, instead of playing a standard DJ set. Most different about Ten Walls is his striking stage visuals that accompany his set. The t-shaped screen brightly lit up the O2, often showing the onlookers taking it all in. Normally, Ten Walls’ set has been known to only half an hour, but sixty minutes in and he was still going strong. This was certainly an improvement on his set that we saw at Bugged Out Weekender in January. ‘Walking With Elephants’ certainly delivered what is promises, and Ten Walls’ command of the decks was second-to-none.

The music at Treatment is always way above par, and this time was no exception. As well as Ten Walls, we were graced with Hertfordshire duo Maribou State and Belfast garage, house and techno produce Ejeca to name just two. All in all, another great night.
