Nile Rodgers Wants The World’s Biggest Disco Ball At Bestival’s Desert Island Disco

Nile Rodgers has challenged the Bestival’s organiser Rob Da Bank to bring the world’s biggest disco ball to Bestival this year, with the theme of the festival being ‘Desert Island Disco’. Watch the video below:

“I would like to create the world’s biggest disco party of all time.” he said, before asking Rob Da Bank that to do that he would need “to create the world’s largest disco ball.”

The current record for the world’s biggest disco ball is 9.6 meters, and Rob Da Bank told Nile that he would do it and in return, Nile will bring on a very special guest that has been an integral part of his life and the disco music scene.

Nile added: “It’s going to be an incredible party, then the setlist, I don’t know what we’re going to be adding but it’s going to be great.”

Nile Rodgers will close the main stage on the last day of Bestival with Chic, with Outkast and Foals headlining the other days.
