Preview: Hospitality in the Park 2018

The end of festival season 2018 is sadly upon us. I think we can all agree it has been one to remember; we’ve partied hard in the unpredictable British weather, seen too many quality acts to list and made enough memories to keep us just about ticking until next summer…

But, if you find yourself one of the 12,000 ravers struggling to come to terms with the fact summer is over, the aptly named Hospitality in the Park Festival opens its arms and welcomes us to join them for one last skank and rave to see off the summer in the most acceptable way we know. Next Saturday (22nd September), Hospital Records takes over Finsbury Park for the third consecutive year, delivering us an absolute stonker of a lineup that would put any DnB head right in their element.

The festival celebrates the diversity of Drum & Bass, hosting reputable and pioneering DJ’s and MC’s who shaped the original scene such as Goldie, LTJ Bukem, Kenny Ken, Ragga Twins, Fabio and Grooverider. Alongside these many legends, expect some of the most prolific current artists to illustrate the evolution of the culture of DnB, with the likes of High Contrast, Kings of the Rollers, Danny Byrd, Barely Legal, Noisia, Whiney and so many more.

Stages are hosted by some respectable names in the industry, Hospital Records, Let It Roll, Hospital’s sister company: Med School (XL), We Love Jungle, Run Vaderz, Main Squeeze vs WAH WAH 45s, and of course, if you missed out on the sunny Outlook Festival last week, catch them hosting fresh from Croatia- they even have special guest Ocean Wisdom.

The day kicks off at 11am, with enough drums, street food, bars and BBQ’s to keep you rolling right the way through to 22.30 (don’t panic, there’s plenty of after parties if you’re still not ready to stop). We really can’t wait to be skanking in the sun- yes, it’s going to be sunny, we’ve checked the forecast.

So if you’re not ready to say goodbye to festi season just yet, this is your last chance to catch some top DnB from leading names in the scene, amongst quality sound systems and carefree vibes- who wants to miss out? Snap up your ticket before they’re all gone (Final Release- £57.50). Hospitality in the Park 2018 is not one to miss.

Last remaining tickets can be found here.
