inSYNC’s ‘Needed’ Track of the Week: ‘Tieduprightnow’ by Parcels

Originally from Australia, but now based in Berlin, indie group Parcels have already made a name for themselves in Europe with their debut singles. The band’s debut long-playing record is set to be released in a couple of months with UK tour dates also planned. The group’s disco and soul-influenced style has made them very recognisable. Their sound uniquely combines funk and disco-influenced 70s riffs and basslines with modern indie electro-pop beats and production techniques.

Our ‘Needed’ track of the week is one of Parcels’ pre-album singles ‘Tieduprightnow’. This fun funky track has an understated disco guitar riff at its core with a pulsing bassline. The song certainly has Daft Punk vibes. ‘Tieduprightnow’ is a great indie pop tune that makes you want to dance to its infectious rhythm. Parcels are definitely a band to watch out for over the next twelve months.
