Glastonbury 2017 Sells Out In An Hour
Glastonbury tickets went on sale again on Sunday for the 2017 event. As usual the music festival in Somerset sold out in less than hour despite the Seetickets site crashing moments before the 9am release. This year’s event saw no phone sales, but all 135,000 tickets snapped up on Glastonbury’s website.
Emily Eavis, festival organiser and daughter of Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis, tweeted: “Tickets have now sold out. Thank you for your huge support and loyalty and we are sorry to those who missed out.”
As for the circulating headline rumours, Daft Punk, The Stone Roses and Lady Gaga seem to be the bookies favourites at the moment. We’ll have to wait and see.
