Creamfields: The Best Of Its Own Kind

The UK’s, and possibly Europe’s, number one dance festival hatched in 1998 and it’s back with a bang. Last year marked the point of selling out seven years in a row and that’s not even the best news, a fourth day has been added! Specialising in electronic music, Creamfields is arguably the world’s ‘best of its own kind’ and sees partygoers from all around the world come to enjoy the show with over 80,000 music fans congregating in Liverpool for the annual show on the August Bank Holiday.

Creamfields boasts almost thirty stages across the weekend with over two hundred acts to celebrate all that is good in the electronic and dance music scene. Not to mention massive acts like Dimitri Vegas and Tiesto, but UK underground legends such as Jamie Jones and Andy C will also be performing live sets over the weekend. Other acts include Above & Beyond, Martin Garrix, Fatboy Slim, Annie Mac, Hannah Wants, Steve Aoki, Idris Elba, Eric Prydz, Mistajaam, Oliver Heldens, MK, DJ EZ, Annie Mac, Hannah Wants, Steve Aoki Armin van Buuren, and Calvin Harris, but that’s not all.

We have just under a week until the festival kick starts. Creamfields will turn into an giant electronic cog of dance acts and techno beats within a matter of minutes. From Creamfields’ very own ‘Cream’ Stage to the all illusive ‘Mix-Mag’ Stage all will be buzzing to the sound of dance. We could list you one hundred reasons as to why you shouldn’t be missing out on Creamfields 2016, and this year Creamfields will be trialling and testing an all new ground breaking sound system called ‘Steel Yard’. This is the first time its ever been trialled in Europe! Not to mention the fact Avicci is retiring so this may be your last time to see the Swedish DJ god live in the flesh!

If Calvin Harris isn’t enough to get the dance blood in your veins pumping and get your fingers typing to order a ticket for the 2016 show, then surely the biggest ever stage to ever be announced at Creamfields will do just that. The ‘Arc’ Stage merges itself around the crowd to give a more immersive experience of the ultra-exotic dance festival.

Creamfields’ new two-tier system also allows festival goers to enjoy a more luxury form of camping, which would of course be another reason for some of you to attend!

The standard ‘bronze’ ticket will remain with all the ‘normal’ benefits of camping and parking, however the ‘silver’ ticket will allow campers to experience everything of the bronze ticket, but also gain a fast track entrance option into the festival’s arena gates!

The ‘gold’ package does indeed do what it says on the tin. All of the advantages of ‘bronze’ and ‘silver’ are included, plus all exclusive all day access to the ‘Hospitality’ area, which will actually serve you a hot meal everyday! If that’s not golden then I don’t know what is. The Hospitality area boasts outdoor seating areas with leather sofas, wooden flooring (for those of you who just need a break from the mud and grass), plus all exclusive facilities available from the ‘Pamper Parlour’ including hair styling, makeup and massages!

We believe all of the greatest festivals in the world are built upon variety. And, for worried music fans, some dance music events are a tail of house and EDM at a never ending war, however this just isn’t the case for Creamfields! They have adapted to what is desired for the fans and it is an ideal set up and blend of many different dance music genres, which will be sure to give you goosebumps from start to finish.

In 2015 Creamfields could boast its biggest production ever, and it quickly became the most technologically developed festival in the UK. There was rumoured over 500,000 viewers on the live stream in 2014 and in 2015 a huge investment was made into the festival, trying to give the fans exactly what they wanted; a vast array of musical talent and electronic dance greatness. With further investments coming towards the 2016 festival, we have to ask ourselves: how much better can this festival really get? Because, I know at inSYNC we certainly do not have any doubts that Creamfields can deliver the good once more. With the biggest sound system that Europe has ever seen and the widest range of non-stop dance acts and musical madness around, Creamfields 2016 is set to be an explosion of excitement and a constant electronic buzz! See you all there.
