Crazy P at Shoreditch Platform, London

As with every last Friday of the month, last week, the Disco Express returned to Shoreditch Platform. The intimate loft-style venue located in the middle of Shoreditch in London opened its doors to a DJ set from Crazy P – a dynamic duo in funk, soul and disco. With early bird tickets starting from just £3, this was one not to miss.

If you haven’t checked out Shoreditch Platform yet, you should definitely add it to your list; two floors above Kingsland Road. The urban space has the max capacity of 200 people – the perfect place to dance the night away with your favourite DJs. With funky modern décor and a tiny DJ booth at the front, Shoreditch Platform allowed fans to get up, close and personal with Crazy P.

The night started off with Disco Express’ residential DJs Bustin’ Loose, warming up the crowd for a night of boogying before Crazy P took centre stage. Although their set did not start until 2am, it was well worth the wait. Leaving the crowd wanting more, the pair’s set list included their best-known hits, some earlier tracks and unsurprisingly, a steady selection of classic disco anthems. The venue allowed plenty of space for the crowd to get funky dancing along to mixes of ‘Heartbreaker,’ and ‘Like a Fool’, which were arguably the highlights of the night.
