Bournemouth University Summer Ball Boasts Best Ever Lineup

It’s almost time for another wave of students to say goodbye to their uni years and settle down in their retrospective careers. Before, however, is one last blowout with those who’ve shared halls, houses and lecture halls. June’s first weekend will mark another extravagant party on the south coast for the 2017 edition of Bournemouth University’s Summer Ball.

This one day festival makes Bournemouth Uni’s Summer Ball one of the best end of year parties in the country. The university works hard, bringing in a whole host of local and national and international acclaimed artists and DJs. Dressing up is a necessity at this event, so don’t think to go without! Students start the day getting in the party spirit and creating some wild, weird and whacky costumes, before heading to the event.

This year will see the biggest and best ever lineup welcomed to the festival. Drum & bass heavyweights Chase & Status take the headline slot with Bristol bassline duo My Nu Leng in support. Also playing is British EDM producer Digital Farm Animals, multi-instrumentalist Youngr and indie band Black Honey, plus many more.

As if this wasn’t enough, those who can keep the party going will find afterparties at The Old Fire Station and the infamous Bournemouth ‘survivors’ photograph taken at 5am down on the beach. The official afterparty is included in the price of the ticket.
