Ventnor Fringe Festival Returns

inSYNC normally centres itself around the music industry, but being based in Portsmouth means there is always a lot of great art, comedy and theatre on offer too. Fancy a break from festivaling for just one week? Well then this is your chance! And, it’s right on the doorstep. The Ventnor Fringe and its sister event, the Ventnor International Festival, together welcome more than 300 artists to the Isle of Wight’s southernmost town. Every year in August there is a unique celebration of talent spanning six days.

The Ventnor Fringe is a wonderland of popup bars and boutique venues. Events take place right across the picturesque town taking over warehouses, empty buildings, the local harbour, woodland glaze, churches and even some local’s front rooms. The Ventnor Fringe really is one of the south coast’s best and most unique arts events. Where else could you catch a ventriloquist show in a launderette, a midnight cellist concert in an 11th century chapel or a late night swing party in a network of abandoned tunnels?

The fringe event covers everything from theatre and comedy to music and film. It’s also offers the unique chance of discovering and witnessing some of the most exciting artists of the future at the very beginning of their careers. The Ventnor Fringe appeals to the massive, so whatever your age and whatever your budget, don’t miss this extraordinary week in Ventnor!

The festival is taking place in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight from August 9th to August 14th. For tickets to this exciting event, or more information, please visit:
