The Neighbourhood To Play Portsmouth Whilst On UK Tour

Los Angeles outfit The Neighbourhood have announced a 19 date UK and European tour. Now half way through, the band started the tour in St. Petersburg in Russia on February 24th. They will close their tour at London’s iconic Roundhouse on March 21st. This Friday the band will grace the stage at inSYNC’s hometown Portsmouth, then visiting Manchester and Birmingham at the weekend.

The band recently headlined Heaven in London in support of their second studio album ‘Wiped Out!’. The album went into the top 10 in the US album chart upon its release, with the band also releasing their first single from the album ‘R.I.P. 2 My Youth’. The new album arrives as a follow up to The Neighbourhood’s successful debut album ‘I Love You’. The band’s single ‘Sweater Weather’, from the first album, went double-platinum and ruled radio and video platforms for months with one of the longest and most successful runs of 2013. Second to ‘Sweater Weather’ was The Neighbourhood’s follow up single ‘Afraid’, which reached the top 5 at Alternative Radio.

The Neighbourhood also stood out as the band who did the unorthodox in their genre by releasing a rap mixtape hosted by hiphop heroes Don Cannon and DJ Drama called #000000 & #FFFFFF. This included the likes of Raury, Danny Brown, DeJ Loaf, French Montana, Casey Veggies etc.

This is a rare opportunity to see the LA five-piece in the UK! Tickets still available at http://thenbhd.com/wiped-out.
