Himalia Remixes EP Review

Pegdoll are a new record label based in Bristol. The label launched in 2015 and after a year of searching the label have selected a number of unique artists to showcase. The label’s Soundcloud states, “We have sounds ranging from orchestral, cinematic, future garage, trip hop and much more…..”, so we can’t see what this label comes up with in 2016.

Their latest release is a Remixes EP from dnb artist Himalia. The EP is one that ensures easy listening. The EP itself is based around liquid drum & bass, and the remix, although some have lyrics, still provide that sensual, relaxed sound. The record’s vibe is chilled out, and would sound great on a summer’s night.

The way I can describe this EP is space-age, and sets a tone only achived with chilled electronic music. Definitely worth listening to, and has to be one of the best electronic music EPs we’ve had the opportunity to listen to so far at inSYNC.

Rating – 9/10
