Hi Dorian,
1. How did Glow Flow Hawaii make the move to start releasing music?
I’ve been producing tracks since I was 11 years old and I would implement original material in our Glow Flow Yoga events. I got such good feedback that I decided to start releasing the originals off our own label. We have a large following now so it only made sense.
2. Jenna Rae is a great talent, how did you first discover her?
I was out at a Party on the North Shore of Oahu during the pro surf season and heard her playing her guitar and singing. I remember telling myself I need to get this girl in the studio!
3. How did you start working with Alex Hook and how did you connect with him for a remix?
I would regularly play Alex’s songs in my sets at events and contacted him on Facebook to do our remix because I love his style and clean sound.
4. Do you feel that Hawaii and the local area has an influence on the style of music you want to release on your label?
Absolutely. People in Hawaii love music and there’s so many talented artists out here from John Cruz, Ashley Lilinoe, & Kolohe Kai. My friends own an after hours club called Asylum that was rated in the top 10 after hours electronic clubs in the world. I do a lot of record release parties there and have been inspired by all the great DJs they fly in from around the world.
5. Finally, what’s next for Glow Flow Hawaii?  Do you have any other releases or events in the pipeline?
We just had an amazing glow Flow event called “End of Summer” that was a huge success! Our next release off the label is called “High Is Gonna End”. Our next event will probably be in November in Hawaii or LA. The theme is yet to be announced.
