Isle of Wight Festival / 21st-24th June 2018

Britain’s oldest festival, Isle of Wight, will be celebrating its 50th anniversary next June. The festival, which takes place in Newport on the south coast island, will once again play host to some of the world’s best pop and rock artists. In a lineup announcement earlier this week, organisers boasted American rock outfit The Killers, Leicester-based four-piece Kasabian and Oasis legend Liam Gallagher, fresh after his debut solo album released, as 2018’s headliners. Other artists announced include Depeche Mode, James Bay and Blossoms. Due to a fallow year at Worthy Farm, Glastonbury will not take place next year; seemingly Isle of Wight organisers have shifted the festival back two weeks to make it fall on what would usually be the weekend of the Somerset festival.
