Annie Mac’s Festival Lost & Found Returns To Malta For A Second Year

Queen of BBC Radio 1, Annie Mac, took a brand new festival to Malta in 2015. With tickets for Lost & Found selling out in a matter of days the Mediterranean island will see the festival return on March 31st for 4 days. The lineup shows off an eclectic mix of huge dance music artists from around the would. Disclosure, Mark Ronson, Seth Troxler, Stormzy, Eats Everything, My Nu Leng and Shy FX will all join the spring party to name but a few acts.

Lost & Found is building on last year’s event; this year will feature pool and boat parties by day, with an exclusive nighttime venue, as well as extra stages, and day time parties set at one of Malta’s ancient castles. You may think this all sounds expensive, but don’t panic because Malta is in reach. With the aim to offer festival goers an authentic visit of the island that goes beyond the traditional festival set-up, event organisers have continued to work closely with Experience Malta as their official travel partners. Delivering an all-encompassing travel package that includes new official hotel rooms that are available from just £17.99 per person per night and affordable flights to and from the UK.

Two pool parties will take place each day of the festival and are included in the price of your festival ticket! The Friday will see Scottish favourite Jackmaster lead a typically playful ‘Euro Disco’ themed party with Horse Meat Disco and Breakbot. The ‘Double Bass’ party will be hosted by tiptop bass duo My Nu Leng, alongside Logan Sama and Madam X.

The party continues Saturday with ‘Pullll Up!’, a carnival inspired party, fronted by the legend that is David Rodigan, and backed up by Toddla T and Melè. ‘The Lovely Disco’ will see tech/house DJs Skream and Artwork go back-to-back. Wrapping up 2016’s pool parties on Sunday will be Canadian tech DJ Heidi and Justin Martin hosting ‘The Pizza Pool Party’, which will see Martin dressed up as a giant pizza. The last pool party, ‘Big Man Ting’ will see BBK DJ Preditah take over the decks along with Charlie Sloth, Lady Leshur and Barley Legal.

Not only is all of this going on at Lost & Found, but 2016’s edition of the festival will see the takeover of an ancient Maltese Castle. A series of spectacular Castle Raves will take place, as well as a number of additional daytime boat parties. Situated on top of a stunning hill top that over looks the whole of Malta, the ancient castle will provide festival-goers a one-of-a-kind experience. Annie Mac will head up the Castle party, with Disclosure, The Martinez Brothers and B.Traits also featuring.

Daytime  boat parties will also feature at this year’s event with beat boss Eats Everything heading up Friday’s action, and a bass-fuelled boat party featuring Hannah Wants and My Nu Leng. Saturday will see two boats set sail with Justin Martin and B.Traits on one, and Dusky and Patrick Topping on the other. And, Sunday will see voyages from Heidi, Bicep and Mella Dee, and a garage masterclass from Shy FX and DJ Barely Legal.
